Macromorphology (smell):
   
Heterogenic colonies, small regular to irregular larger forms (0.2-1 mm in diameter). No hemolysis on blood agar.
Micromorphology: Small (0.5-0.6 x 1.0 µm), motile (twitching), slightly bent rods, but lacks flagella.
